Serving Contra Costa County, Alameda County and Solano County (Vallejo): (510) 867-7292 or info@nextappraisal.net I was laid off along with the rest of the appraisal department from Wachovia in the fall of 2008.  This was the second time in ten years that I’d been laid off and decided to take charge of my own destiny and start my own business.  The name of my company “Next Appraisal” for me has two meanings.  The first is, this is the beginning of the next phase of my life.  The second meaning is that I want a clients next appraisal order.  And the next one after that, and the next one after that, etc
